Build An Energy Efficient, Low Allergy Home
A daughter’s asthma inspires a family to design and build an energy efficient, low allergy home.
Found this inspiring story over at Keetsa.com.
Gladwyn deSouza’s family wanted an energy efficient home with allergy free building materials.
Architect David Arkin was consulted and is here explaining some of the many things that were done to the new house; such as recycled glass counters, flame proof cellulose insulation, and solar panels.

Hey You. haven’t heard from you in awhile. I hope all is well.
I am sorry to hear that your daughter has asthma. I have a good friend who has asthma too and see how he struggles sometime.. but that’s great that you are trying to make a greener environment for your child. Very inspiring!

As a parent of 3, grandma of 2, and having friends with kids that have asthma, I highly recommend using Shaklee Products in your home. These products are Non Toxic, Biodegradable and are very effective household cleaners. Also the Company is the first in the world to be Carbon Neutral, They really care about your family, your home and the environment. They are partners of the Movie The 11th Hour and started the Million Trees Million Dreams Campaign.
