Have You Seen the Aptera? Amazing Looking Electric Car

Some might argue, but I think this vehicle looks awesome. The all electric version has a range of 120 miles and a low charge time of 2 to 4 hours. While I couldn’t find a hard number for the range of the PHEV, the website did have this: “after 350-400 miles it eventually plummets to [...]

NanoSolar Video Shows Off Roll On Solar Film

I was scanning the YouTube eco videos and ran across a recently uploaded demonstration video showing Nanosolar’s progress in the solar industry. I was hoping to find some specs on their website, but couldn’t so we will just have to continue to be hopeful.

Free Steamy Energy From Volcanic Landscape

Now here’s a place you don’t hear about every day, Kamchatka.
With a population of just under a half million, the peninsula of Kamchatka is sprinkled with steam spewing geysers which give the landscape a mystical beauty complimented by snow capped volcanoes, many of which are still active. City of Chicago Vows To Fight Indiana Oil Refinery Dumping Plan

Is it not just unfathomable that an entire area, densely populated, has to beg a greedy few to not increase pollution and dumping into their natural water source?
Even worse, this is just one of many current stories of environmental negligence by a corporation. As these proponents of big oil fluff and spin a heartless justification and trivialization of why their company growth is more important than their costumers health and well being, I am thinking to myself “how can these people look another human being in the eye and not blush blood red?”

Gas Station Going Green

Well, this station may not be adding vehicle-to-grid connections for electric cars or offering alternative fuels, but it is doing its part by implementing many green features compared to a typical gas station.

Quiet Rooftop Wind Turbines Coming Soon

Graeme Atty, an inventor from Australia, has designed a simple and affordable solution to supplying your home’s energy needs. Just five of these simple looking turbines can power an average home. Since the initial cost is around $700 each, a few thousand dollars for a power station is quite the bargain. The oversupply can be sent back to the grid for a potential profit in certain areas.
