“Lithium Energy Japan” Just the Big Money We Needed for Mass EV Fast Charge Battery Production

Mitsubishi Motors, Mitsubishi Corporation and battery supplier GS Yuasa Corporation have been planning a joint venture company to get the ball rolling on much needed large format and fast recharge lithium-ion batteries with an electric car application in mind.
On December 12, 2007 they formally solidified the deal into Lithium Energy Japan. This is phenomenal news for the EV car industry.

Humming Road Makes Music For Drivers

Well this seems like a novel idea! In Namata Japan officials have come up with a unique way to attract more people to an isolated tourist area. This previously uneventful trip through the mountains, now has 170 meters worth of ridges that cause your tires to hum a tune as you drive over them. Signs suggest drivers maintain 50kph (31mph) for proper pitch and rhythm, which times the length of the tune at 12.7 seconds.
