The manufacture of metal and paper consumes large quantities of water. So it’s factor that each metal and paper are two of the most-recycled supplies. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, Americans recycled 1.1 million tons of metal cans and 46 million tons of paper and paperboard in 2018. Keep up the nice work!

Steel, like different metals, may be melted down and reused over and over. Paper has a shorter lifespan as a result of every time it’s recycled, the fibers are shortened, making them more durable to recycle once more. A sheet of copy paper may be recycled roughly five to seven times.
